Our client is a UK public research university and their marketing partner in the MENA region.
About the Role
The Regional Manager will represent the university in the MENA region, focusing on student recruitment, partnerships, and raising the university’s profile. As part of the International Development Office, this role contributes to executing a strategic plan aimed at expanding recruitment efforts in this key growth region. The position involves frequent, sophisticated interaction with international clients, and significant travel time is required (40%).
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognised international institution
- Significant management experience (5+ years) within the higher education sector with an extensive understanding of student recruitment and partnership development
- Strong understanding of issues that affect the international education sector and the MENA markets
- Good understanding of cultural sensitivity in the MENA region
- Ability to communicate in Arabia language is preferrable
- Willingness to work across time zones
Our ideal candidate is experienced in representing UK (or other foreign universities) and has strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
