About Our Client

Our Client is a UK higher education pathways provider through which more than 35,000 students have progressed to universities in the UK and around the world.

About the Role

The Student Support Manager will support the conversion of international students by providing account management services for overseas study centre’s counselling teams, providing best-in-sector knowledge about the multi-destination admissions process, leading conversion activities for the dedicated region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing student conversion plans for the placement of our client’s students to its partner university degree programmes.
  • Representing our client and its UK university partners, including exhibition attendance and visits to partner universities, schools, colleges, and other key stakeholders.
  • Managing Study Centre Counsellor networks, including training and application management, performance monitoring and relationship development.

Key Requirements

  • Account or stakeholder management experience
  • Marketing and/ or experience notably within a B2C context
  • Extensive knowledge of UK Higher Education sector, UCAS and admissions services
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and availability to travel within China (and to the UK where necessary).
